Carlos Urias – Director of Community Engagement

Carlos retired from the Army with over 28 years of experience in the mental health field. He has worked extensively with Service Members both at home and during his four combat deployments to the middle east. Carlos earned his degree in Business Administration from Troy University and loves the administrative and business side of healthcare. He is dedicated to helping others which is what drew him to NAMI. In his role as Director of Community Engagement, Carlos often meets people who don’t know where to turn and refers them to NAMI. He is a board member of the Colorado Veterans Health and Wellness Agency that provides free limited mental health services for those Veterans without other resources.
